Self-care is more important today than ever before, but it's not just about spa days and putting yourself first. Taking care of the very root of your being and reaching a healthy and sustainable emotional state can be the most positively impactful way to self-care.

About me

Hi, I’m Christiane or Chris. I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist in Geraldton, Western Australia.

Welcome to my CT Hypnotherapist website.

‘If you are ready to change I am ready to help’.

I assist people to connect with themselves and to the wheel of life in their own rhythm to enrich and to engage with their inner soul.

After obtaining my Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy in 2017 followed by a Certificate III in Micro Business, I started CT Hypnotherapy as a home-based business.

After passing High school I went to England as an Au Pair (this was very trendy in those days) to improve my English. I attended English language classes and gained a position, living with a family of three males (father with his two sons). This situation catapulted me out of my comfort zone, right from the word go.

In Germany I was living with my mum and her words still stick with me after all those years: “You are like a leaf in the wind”. Though I didn’t really know what that meant in my relatively young age.

I loved my experience in London and returned to Germany after one year. I moved into my own apartment and started as an apprentice hairdresser in order to become a Make-up Artist. So I thought. But my life plan turned out to be different.

A stubborn allergy on my hands forced me to quit.

I switched not only cities, but also profession and studied fashion design. At least I could create something useful with my hands which I enjoyed and finished with a trade certificate.

Next to learning and studying I always worked to support myself either in hospitality and / or administration work.

Engaging with people from all walks of life is my passion.

The Year 2000 revealed a huge insight within myself while I was volunteering for His Holiness the Dalai Lama in France. I remember this very vividly like it happened just yesterday. My nightshift was coming to an end, dawn was approaching, peace and quiet. While I was guarding the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, I decided to go back to studies.

This time my journey took me to Nepal (Kathmandu) to study Tibetan Buddhism and Philosophy in a monastery connected with the Kathmandu University. After three years I moved to India (Dharamsala) to be closer to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. There at the Tibetan Library I finished my studies with a Degree.

After moving back to Germany to continue working with people, I had the opportunity to travel to China to work for Miss World Competition.

Meeting my now husband in 2005, brought me to Australia. Together, we successfully operated a boutique cafe’. But my hunger to study and learn kicked in again and I decided to join a course in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy in Perth. Which brings me here today.

So, now I’ve become a solid tree instead of a leaf in the wind.

I strive to empower people to gain their inner voice and live the life they truly want. Confidentiality, Sincerity, Professionalism are not only strong words for me I actually obey to them and to a strict Code of Ethics.
